Just listened to one the the man's great cd's. It would be hard to overstate the contribution that B. B. and Lucille made to Jazz, Blues and Rock. A must read is his autobiography, "Blues all around me".

We all know that the clothes make the man but what makes him persist. The answer of course is music, jazz specifically. The look is not the thing its the sound. We can drive our cars, run, ride bikes or for that matter do nearly anything and listen to music. It is the essence of the time continuum. Jazz, not cotton is the fabric of our lives.
